Product Introduction :

Halogen free flame retardant BZ-FR1913 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant specially designed by our company for polyolefins such as PP, PE and TPV, with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame retardant elements (the system does not contain APP);  It mainly plays the role of flame retardant by charcoal formation and expansion flame retardant mechanism.It is not subject to RoHS and REACH regulations; it has the characteristics of high flame retardant efficiency, good thermal stability, no precipitation, good water resistance, light aging resistance, low smoke and non-toxicity.PP containing flame retardant BZ-FR1913, flame retardant level up to UL94 V-0 (0.8mm), and passed 70 ℃ × 168 hours of water immersion test (UL746C), also passed GWIT900 ℃ and GWFI960 ℃ glow wire test; BZ-FR1913 is especially suitable in glass fiber reinforced PP, it can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm).

Precautions for processing :
  ( 1 ) The initial thermal decomposition temperature of BZ-FR1913 in the air is 280°C, so the processing temperature of the twin-screw can be increased according to the specific situation to achieve the effect of strengthening dispersion and improving plasticization. A certain degree of hollowness must be maintained during the twin-screw extrusion process.
  ( 2 )When BZ-FR1913 is used in PP, it is not recommended to use a screw combination with strong shear.
