Introduction:

BZ-TC406 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant specially designed for polyolefins, with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame retardant elements; it mainly plays a flame retardant role by charring and intumescent flame retardant mechanism. It is not restricted by RoHS and REACH decrees; it has high flame retardant efficiency, good thermal stability, no precipitation,  light aging resistance, low smoke and non-toxic characteristics. With BZ-TC406 flame-retardant PP, 28 parts of flame-retardant reached UL 94 V-0 (1.6 mm); BZ-TC406 can also be used in glass fiber reinforced PP, up to UL 94 V-0 (0.8 mm).

(1)The initial thermal decomposition temperature of BZ-TC406 in air is 280℃, so the processing temperature in the double screw can be raised according to the effect of strengthening dispersion and improving plasticity.The certain hollow degree must be maintained during the process of double-screw extrusion processing.

(2)BZ-TC406 is not recommended when used in PP.
