BZ-FR1916 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant (the system does not contain APP) designed by our company for polyolefins such as PP, PE and TPV, with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame retardant elements; it mainly plays a flame retardant role by charring and intumescent flame retardant mechanism. It is not restricted by RoHS and REACH regulations; it has the characteristics of high flame retardant efficiency, good thermal stability, no precipitation, good water resistance, light aging resistance, low smoke and non-toxicity. PP flame-retarded by BZ-FR1916 has a flame retardancy of UL94 V-0 (0.8mm), and has passed the 70℃х168-hour immersion test (UL746C), and has passed the GWIT900℃ and GWFI960℃ glow wire tests; BZ-FR1916 is particularly suitable for glass fiber reinforced PP and can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm).

Processing precautions:
(1) The initial thermal decomposition temperature of BZ-FR1916 in air is 280℃, so the processing temperature of the twin-screw can be adjusted according to the specific situation to achieve the effect of enhancing dispersion and improving plasticization. A certain degree of hollowness must be maintained during the twin-screw extrusion process.
(2) When BZ-FR1916 is used in PP, it is not recommended to use a strong shear screw combination.
Packaging/Storage:
25 kg /bag; transported as per normal chemical standards, stored in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight.
